This nonrenewable scholarship of $250 has been established for the children and the grandchildren of active SMCA members who are enrolling fulltime in a post secondary educational program (ie.University, Community College, Technical School, Nursing School, etc.)  This scholarship is available to students regardless of their class rank (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, etc.) in school.

Dealing with adversity: Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and steps you have taken to address this challenge. Include whether you turned to anyone in facing the challenge, the role the person played, and what you learned about yourself.
